Beloved husband of Diane. Loving father of Ken Hughes and Kelli Bowe (Dan). Cherished Poppa of Izabella. Dear brother of Loreen Hughes, Ruth Sloan (Grant), Joan Brooks (Jim), Allen Clark (Gail) and brother-in-law of Betty Henry. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Violet Hughes. Uncle Brian will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their extended family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 600 MONAGHAN ROAD SOUTH, PETERBOROUGH (705-745-3211) Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Nisbett Chapel. In memory of Brian, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.</div>
