Peacefully on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at Springdale Country Manor in her 78th year. Beloved daughter of the late Ivan and Eva Robb. Cherished mother of Janice Ross (Greg), Karen Curtis (Martin), John Ward (Joanne) and Julie Ward. Loving grandma of 11 grandchildren and 7 great - grandchildren. Dear sister of Donald Robb (Bev) and the late Elaine. Former spouse of Robert Ward. Gail was a long time member of the Edith Carleton Chapter of IODE and a dedicated RN for 25 years at Peterborough Civic Hospital and Lakefield Extendicare. Relatives and friends are invited to call the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME 600 MONAGHAN RD., S. PETERBOROUGH (705) 745-3211 on Sunday, September 25th, 2016 for a visitation from 12 p.m - 1 p.m with a Memorial Service to follow in the Nisbett Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. A private family interment at a later date. For those who wish to commemorate Gail, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Mark St. United Church would be appreciated by the family.
