Passed away peacefully on Saturday June 7, 2014 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his 88th year. Beloved husband for 67 years to Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Sanders). Devoted father of Betty Lou Innes (Garry), Doug, Gary (Ruth), Chris, Stephen (Wendy), and the late David, Allen, and Danny (Jayne). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Cindy, Kerry, Peter, Chrystalina, Samantha, Andrew, Jennifer, Daniel, Scott, Adam, Joseph, Nicolas, Jason, Billy, Robert, Paul, Montgomery, and the late Tiffany and by several great grandchildren. Dear brother of Webb, John, Ted, Joe, Mary, Grace, Jean, Bill, Bob, Fred, Marg and Harry. He will be fondly remembered by many in-laws, and extended family. Special thank you to the thoughtful staff of the palliative care and kindness of Dr. Turner. A celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday June 11, 2014 at 1 p.m. at All Saints Church (235 Rubidge St.) with Interment to follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Donations in his memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society. Arrangements entrusted to NISBETT FUNERAL HOME (705-745-3211).
