Predeceased by his parents Alex and Winnie (White) Cumming. Survived by his sister Bev Hatfield (Braden Smith). Survived by his wife Marlene Cumming (Guerin). Dad was loved and will be deeply missed by his children Terry (Kathy), Alan, Scott (Sandy) and Kelli Kamping (Chad Foster). Grampa (Pa) will be forever missed and loved by his grandchildren Lauren Bell (Joe), Maggie Vanderbyl (Jon), Emma Cumming, Sarah Cumming, Sydney Cumming, Blake Cumming and Makayla Kamping. Doug had a special place in his heart for Kevin Ralph and Katie Ralph. Survived by his sister-in-law Gail Spence (Dave) and brother-in-law Len Guerin (Kate). Uncle Doug will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Doug will be remembered by his many cousins and relatives. A special thank you to Pat McGuire for her love and caring over the past many months. Dad will always be remembered for his passion of hockey. Dad loved nothing more than to watch his children and grandchildren play sports, especially if they played hockey. Dad regrets not being around for the birth of his two great- grandsons Landon Vanderbyl and Levi Bell, both expected in July. Dad will always be remembered for his generosity and devotion to his children, grandchildren and family. We all love and miss you already dad. A special thank you to Dr. Brian Lindsay and the entire amazing and caring Palliative Staff at the PRHC. A Celebration of Doug's Life will be held Saturday May 28, 2016 at the SALVATION ARMY TEMPLE, 219 Simcoe St. Visitation starting at 10 a.m with service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens, 2551 Whittington Drive, Peterborough.
