ANDREW, Helen Florence - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen on Sunday, December 13th, 2015 just six days shy of her 93rd birthday. Mom was born on December 19th, 1922 in Millbrook, Ontario to Albert William Miller and Annie Grace (nee Jones). She was the beloved wife of Wallace Bruce Andrew (1995) for more than 50 years, loving mother to Allan, Robert, Brian (Jacquie), Craig (Sandy) and cherished grandmother of Kirk (Cara), Chelsey (Kyle), Kiersten, Lauren (Brad), David (2007), Sydney, Mackenzie and greatgrandmother of Korban. Mom retired from the Royal Bank after 22 years of service. She was a 30+ year member of the Parkhill Ladies Bowling League. She was also a member of the Peterborough Lioness Club for many years. Mom loved her cottage on lower Buckhorn Lake where wonderful family memories were made. She loved fishing, crib, euchre and just about every game going. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. We would like to thank the staff of Fairhaven 4th floor Riverside West for all their compassionate care of Mom and for the kindness shown to both her and our family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17th, 2015 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME, 600 MONAGHAN ROAD S,. 705-745-3211. A private family interment will take place at Rosemount Memorial Gardens at a later date. In memory of Helen, donations to the Peterborough Lioness Club would be appreciated.
