<div itemprop="description">Jack E. Bedwell <br> <br>July 30, 1926 - July 26, 2016 <br> <br> <br> <br>Just four days short of his 90th birthday, the family of the late Jack E. Bedwell announce his passing on July 26, 2016, at the age of 89, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Ontario. Jack was born in Toronto the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Bedwell. He attended Earl Haig Public School and Danforth Tech. He is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years Sally Bedwell and his children Brian Bedwell (Jennifer), Lenora Woolnough (Jeff), Gordon Bedwell (Michelle), three beloved grandchildren Ben Bedwell, Jordan Bedwell and Landon Bedwell. He was predeceased by his first wife Nona Whetung, and his sister Eunice McCandless. Jack also leaves his extended family Rick (Cathy), Steve (Monique), John, Shelley (Allison) and grandchildren: Rhonda, Jordan (Ashley), Rachel (Andres), Cody, Ryan (Hillary), Stephanie (Curtis), and beloved great-grandchildren, Preston, Hudson, Mossi. Jack’s career was varied, but committed to celebrating the art of sales. In order of occurrence livelihoods included, Reckett & Colman, Weiser Locks, introducing Captain Scott’s Fish and Chips to Eastern Canada, Real Estate, and recreational property development on Kawagama and Stoney Lakes, Ontario. He was a passionate hockey and baseball fan. In his glory days Jack enjoyed season tickets to the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 2016 at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME 600 MONAGHAN RD. S., PETERBOROUGH (705) 745 - 3211, from 10 a.m - 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre for their professional and caring attention, especially in the later days of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. <br> <br></div>
