<div itemprop="description">NICE, Lynda Marie (nee Orr) <br />June 10, 1961 - August 27, 2013 <br />With sadness the Nice and Orr families announce the passing of Lynda after her courageous battle with ovarian cancer came to a peaceful end on Tuesday August 27th, 2013 at Markham Stouffville Hospital. She will be deeply missed by her husband Kirk, daughter Shavonne, and Son Chad, mother and father Doris and Boyce Orr, sisters Katherine Kajaks and Lisa Orr (Chris Annis). Brother-in-law Mark Nice and family and father-in-law Tom Nice. She will be lovingly remembered by many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews friends and all who knew her. A life short lived. Devoted to her family and career. Lynda graduated from Sir Sanford Fleming School of Nursing in 1983 and dedicated herself to the comfort and care of others for 30 years. As passionate as Lynda was for her profession, her greatest love was for her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister who always put the well-being of others ahead of her own. A special heartfelt thank you to all the staff and caregivers at Princess Margaret Hospital, and Markham Stouffville Hospital for the care and comfort they provided to Lynda and her family. The families would like to extend a special thank you to all our families and friends for their words of comfort, special thoughts, deeds and many prayers. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday August 31, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Northminster United Church (300 Sunset Blvd.), with a reception to follow in the church hall. Family interment will take place at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Nisbett Funeral Home (705-745-3211). If desired, donations to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre would be appreciated. <br /></div>
