<div itemprop="description">GUTHRIE, Jean (nee Grattan)<br><br>January 6th, 1955 - May 29th, 2016<br><br><br><br>On May 29th 2016 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Jean passed peacefully with family by her side after a long and hard battle with ALS, at the young age of 61. Lovingly remembered by her husband Bill of 31 years. Dear mother of Joseph (Eunnae) and Ronald (Julia). Proud Nana to Elena, Natalie, Megan and Alexander. Sadly missed by her brother's and sister's Bob, Bonnie (Roy), Bill (Doris), Rick, Sandy (Ralph) and Barry (Liz). Predeceased by sister's Carrol and Debbie and parents Trevor and Ruth. Jean will be missed by her mother - in - law Betty Guthrie (late Arthur) and sister - in - laws Linda (Tom) and Liz. Jean was a proud and hard working employee of Merit Precision Moulding for 32 years. She enjoyed her past times of baking and spending time with family and friends. Jean is going to be missed by many more extended friends and family here at home and abroad. Relatives and friends are invited to the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME 600 MONAGHAN RD S., PETERBOROUGH (705) 745 - 3211 on Thursday, June 2nd 2016 from 6 p.m - 9 p.m and Friday, June 3rd from 11 a.m until time of Memorial Service in the Nisbett Chapel at 12 noon. Reception to follow in the Nisbett Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society of Canada or the Palliative Care Unit at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre would be appreciated by the family.</div>
